Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for her roles in the movies 'Beta,"Saajan," and 'Humaapke Hain Koun'. ..!' Her career in the 1980s , and gained fame with her role in the film 'Tezaab' in which she was a part of the cast alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Next, she appeared in the film "Dil" in which she shared screen space alongside Aamir Khan. She was raised in Mumbai by a middle-class family. At an early age she began learning to dance. She began acting as a youngster and was a struggle for a few years since most of her first films failed. Her career eventually took off and she went on to become one of the top actors in the Indian film industry. After her wedding the couple separated but returned to the entertainment industry. Recently, she had an integral part of the film "Gulaab Gang" that focused on the triumphs and struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated to win fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she received eight. She also received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian honour. Her social work is also an important aspect.
