Mary McCormack is an American actress who is known for her lead roles in the TV series 'Murder", 'The West Wind in Plain Sight' as well as 'Loaded'. Alongside her television performances, she has been known for film roles such as Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack was born into a family with no entertainment connections at all to her family tree, was the daughter of a clinical therapy and the owner of an Ice Cream Shop. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following her parents' divorce in the year 1990, she enrolled to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program in comparative arts. The actress began her professional career as a child when she appeared in the stage production "Amahl & The Night Visitors an operetta for Christmas. The actress continued to perform on stage and finally landed parts on the large and small screen. McCormack today is acknowledged as being one of Hollywood's best-known and versatile actors. She is the mother of three children together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
