Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. She is known as an actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is currently an analyst and a team leader of GI-TOC Multilateral Engagement. The GI-TOC's research activities concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and various forms of violence in the context of illicit economics. Research interests encompass the effect of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of legislation and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. She also holds an LL.M. degree with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula received a magnacum Bachelor's degree in laude from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. After a four-year duration at a multinational law firm, she's licensed as lawyer. In addition, she worked in assisting roles with non-governmental organizations located at Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
