Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us songs like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Being a young and successful singer-songwriter she is already one of the top selling artists. She was born in Barbados and had a childhood filled with reggae. When she began to sing, she became an accomplished singer. Due to the chaos in her home and the arguments that her parents had with each other, she turned to music. Then she realized that she wanted to become a singer. While still in highschool she was a part of a band group, and was asked to sing for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the ability of this girl. He requested that the teenager be relocated in New York and pursue a performing career that was full-time. Rihanna was thrilled to accept. Her debut album quickly went viral and was described as the next big thing in music. Rihanna was loved by the youth for her peppy dance music, which was a hit. It led to her becoming a director. Young and talented, Rihanna is widely regarded as both a teen-idol as well as a fashion icon. Rihanna put her celebrity to great use through being taking part in various charitable causes
